Our community rehabilitation team provide a range of services in our clients’ own homes and communities. These involve both physical and psychological areas of rehabilitation, and are mainly funded through ACC, insurance agencies or private agreements.
We provide services to clients who have had moderate/severe traumatic brain injuries (TBI), mild traumatic brain injuries (concussion), general neurological conditions, neurotoxicity (chemical poisoning), psychological issues, spinal injury and other general physical injuries.
Our community rehabilitation team also provide services for clients returning to the workplace.
Our rehabilitation services are provided by members of our interdisciplinary team which includes a combination of, or all of the following:
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech Language Therapists
- Clinical Psychologists
- Neuropsychologists
- Rehab Coaches
- Physiotherapists
- Dietitians
- Social Workers
- Registered Nurses
We provide services across North and South Canterbury, the West Coast, as well as North Otago (Oamaru area), visiting clients in their own home, school or workplace.
Referrals to our programmes can be via an ACC Case Manager or insurance provider.
We also accept privately-funded clients.
